About Me

Tanya Jacob, BA

I believe healing happens when we honour the full spectrum of our being—emotional, spiritual, and physical. My understanding of this holistic relationship was profoundly shaped by a personal health crisis in 2010. This challenging period compelled me to address long-standing emotional issues that were negatively impacting my health. By collaborating with several healers, including a psychotherapist, I was able to resolve the emotional patterns that were affecting my health. This transformative experience inspired my path toward becoming a psychotherapist —so I could support others navigating similar challenges.

I hold a graduate certificate in psychotherapy from the Toronto Centre for Psychotherapy and Counselling Education (TCPCE), as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Art and Art History from the University of Toronto. My background includes extensive training in meditation, mindfulness, energy healing, Christianity, and nature‑based spirituality. I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) in good standing with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario.

My practice supports clients navigating trauma, relationship challenges, chronic illness, and the somatic effects of emotional distress. I help people work through shame, build self‑esteem, speak with confidence, and establish healthy boundaries. I also welcome clients who wish to integrate spirituality into their healing in ways that feel meaningful and authentic.

“Out of your vulnerabilities will come your strength.”
